Art speaks!

There is a gentle, yet persistent power in the making of and viewing of art. Color has been a part of my earliest perceptions of life and language. I remember as a 4 year old, wondering why there were so few lines to color in my Bible coloring book page of Joseph’s coat of many colors. I had to make more lines and use every color in the box!

Throughout the years, art has been the thread that has sewn seasons of my life together. I’ve set it down at times but always found myself picking back up pencil or brush. I’ve seen art from one extreme as being just for me, to the other as just being for everyone else. Neither of those perspectives felt right. I’ve finally discovered that there is a perfect balance of it being for both. My hope is that as I share my creations, and teach others how to open a door to their own creativity, that you will experience a whole new perspective!
